I am pleased to say that Wee Eck is now safely back under my beret where he has happily resided for many years.
Michael has now happily returned to choosing glass for his panel and assures me that he will leave Wee Eck alone in future.
Glasworks Glasgow would like to state that no Wee Eck`s were harmed in the making of this Glass Diary !

I believe this is what is known as an Aye-Aye. Quite appropriate for a Glasgow studio!! Maybe they have an Och-Aye too!
Wee Eck makes me nostalgic. All the kids had Wee Eck's in their hair when I was a kid in Springburn. They were smaller though, and we used to use a nit comb to get them out and afterwards were not usually very kind to them. Joe's one is obviously a big one, carefully nurtured and well looked after! What does he do with him when he takes his beret off before bed I wonder? (If.... he takes his beret off before bed anyway!?!
